Accommodation
Pilgrims Barn, a lovely bed and breakfast, located in the quiet rural village of Little Baddow. Our B&B accommodation is a self contained annexe to the main building with a private entrance and a parking space immediately outside the door.
The historic barn is full of character, offering our guests a beautiful open plan style accommodation, comprising of:
- a bedroom area furnished to a high standard, including a double bed which can be converted to twin beds
- ideal for couples but can sleep up to four/five - please check for details
- children welcome - please phone for details.
- a sitting/dining area with a dining table and chairs, plus comfortable chairs
- modern kitchen area with generous work surfaces, tea/coffee equipment, refrigerator, and microwave oven
- luxury appointed large shower room, with toilet, wash-basin, heated floor, towel rail and assistance aids for the less-able
- your own private terrace with seating area
- warm-air under-floor heating
- wheelchair access throughout
- dogs by arrangement
The Barn is equipped with Wi-Fi internet access, high-fidelity audio equipment, luxury appointments and practical day-to-day requirements.
The beautiful and interesting half-acre gardens, complete with a pavilion, are available for guests’ use.
Breakfast
- Light, continental or full cooked breakfasts included – sufficient to think twice about lunch!
- Served in The Barn (or on your own courtyard garden, if requested).
- Special diets catered by arrangement.
A little bit of history ...
With the house, the sympathetically restored and converted barn is English Heritage (Grade II) listed. The Barn has been featured in “Period Home” and in “Essex Life”.
